The main tests include:
Comprehensive Parasitology Profile
This evaluates stool samples for the presence of
pathogenic bacteria and parasites, yeast/fungus (e.g.
Candida) overgrowth as well as levels of beneficial
gut bacteria.
May benefit those:
 |
With digestive problems such
as IBS, Crohn's Disease, colitis, frequent
bloating, stomach pains, constipation, diarrhoea
and excessive flatulence. |
 |
Suffering from all types of inflammatory
conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid
arthritis, polyarthritis, lupus, psoriasis,
MS, and Ankylosing Sponelilitis, as pathogens
can be a causative factor in these diseases. |
Adrenal Stress Profile
This test uses saliva samples to evaluate adrenal
gland function and its fluctuation over the course
of a day. It tests levels of cortisol and DHEA. These
hormones influence carbohydrate, protein and lipid
(fat) metabolism, thyroid function and help the body
manage stress.
May benefit those who:
 |
Have low energy levels or low
thyroid function |
 |
Suffer from chronic stress
|
 |
Suffer from anxiety, panic attacks or depression |
 |
Have chronic migraines, re-current infections
or chronic insomnia. |
Osteoporosis Risk Assessment
A simple urine test that identifies the current
rate of bone loss, risk of fracture and efficacy of
any bone support therapies (natural or through medication
such as HRT).
May benefit those:
 |
With a family history of osteoporosis |
 |
Who have had a bone scan showing deterioration |
 |
Who are menopausal / post-menopausal and
are concerned about the health of their bones
or want to avoid getting osteoporosis |
 |
Women who have had an early hysterectomy
and are therefore at increased risk of osteoporosis. |
Menopause Profile
Although the menopause is a normal part of a woman’s
life, many experience discomfort before, during and
after their menopause. Additionally many women in
their 40’s, 50’s and beyond are at greater
risk of developing osteoporosis and oestrogen sensitive
cancers.
This test uses urine and four saliva samples to check
:
a) breast cancer risk
b) osteoporosis risk
c) the levels of oestrogen and progesterone in the
cells.
May benefit those women:
 |
With a family history of breast
and other hormone related cancers |
 |
With a family history of osteoporosis |
 |
Experiencing menopausal symptoms e.g. mood
swings, lack of energy, hot flushes, night
sweats, forgetfulness, abdominal weight gain. |
 |
Aged 50 or over who would like help with
the prevention of menopausal problems, osteoporosis
or hormone dependent cancers |
Breast Cancer Risk Profile
This urine test helps assess your risk for oestrogen-sensitive
cancers including breast, uterine, cervical and even
some forms of head and neck cancers. It is also a
good general screening test for women between 20 and
50 years of age.
The test is called the Estronix 2/16 Hydroxyoestrogen
Ratio test.
May benefit those women with possible risk factors
for developing oestrogen-sensitive cancers including:
 |
A family history of hormonal cancer |
 |
Hormonal problems such as difficulty conceiving
or Premenstrual Syndrome |
 |
A prolonged use of oral contraceptives
or synthetic HRT |
 |
A diet high in animal fat or drinking more
than 2 alcoholic drinks per day |
 |
Excessive abdominal weight gain
|
Lactose Intolerance Profile
This simple breath test detects a deficiency of
the enzyme lactase, following a challenge dose of
lactose.
May benefit:
 |
Those who suffer frequent abdominal
cramps, diarrhoea and excessive flatulence. |
 |
Those who suspect they may be intolerant
to dairy products. |
Female Hormonal Profile
This test measures the monthly fluctuations in oestrogen
and progesterone, which play a vital role in women’s
hormonal health. An insufficiency, excess or imbalance
in the levels of these two hormones are the causal
factors behind many women’s health problems.
The test also checks levels of testosterone which
also has an important role in hormonal health.
May benefit:
 |
Women who have problems conceiving |
 |
Those who have conditions such as; endometriosis,
PMT, fibroids, ovarian cysts, menstrual irregularities,
excessive hormonal bleeding and a low libido |
 |
Those who suffer from acne, PCOS, excess
facial or body hair, loss of motivation or

This test is not suitable for people on any hormones
